Fixing a Connection That Won't Log On
Some users are able to reach
the Airpath home page, but find they are unable to log in. The following
steps should solve this problem:
Disconnecting Completely
Disconnect your wireless adapter from your computer for a period of three
to five minutes. Re-connect your adapter and attempt to log on as normal.
Restarting Your Computer
If you are still unable to log in, try to disconnect again by following
the instructions above, then shut your computer down. Restart your computer
and try to log in.
Check Your Wireless Configuration
| Click on Start, then right-click on
My Network Places. On the sub-menu that appears, click on
Properties. |

| Double-click on the icon for your
Local area connection. You may need to look at the Device Name
to make sure you have the correct one.
Click on Properties. |

| Click on the Configure button. Then click on
the Advanced tab on the screen that appears. |

| Click on ESSID. This must be set to
airpath (all lower-case letters). Click on Operating Mode.
This must be set to Infrastructure.
Also, make sure that
Encryption Level is set to None.
Click OK.
Click Close. |

Renew Your IP Address
| Click on Start, then click on Run. |
 |
| Type command and click OK. |
 |
| Type ipconfig /release, then hit <enter>. |
 |
| After this command processes, type ipconfig
/renew, then hit <enter>. |
